Your Words Have Power
…and why the things we say to ourselves, quietly or out loud, might be the most magical (and underrated) healing tool we have.
Let’s break it down, friend.'
In our Healing Vibe Session, we use neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), blended with intuitive mindset work, nervous system regulation, and just the right touch of magic.
You don’t need to memorize the science, but here’s the gist:
Your thoughts shape your reality. Your words teach your body what to believe.
NLP in its traditional form is based on the idea that our neuro pathways, linguistic patterns (aka the things we say), and programmed behaviors all work together to shape how we move through the world and how we feel while doing it.
But in this space, we make it more human. More intuitive. More you.
How It Works (Without the Fluff)
In our group sessions, the shift begins quietly, through breath, rhythm, and carefully chosen words that speak directly to the parts of you that are ready to let go and grow.
You might not even realize it’s happening at first. But behind the music, the breath, and the release, I’m guiding your subconscious through a kind of soulful script rewrite.
Using intentional language, embedded suggestions, and somatic cues, we begin to:
-
Loosen the grip of old beliefs
-
Interrupt mental loops that keep you stuck
-
Offer new, empowering phrases your body can anchor into
-
Create space for your system to respond with calm, trust, and clarity
You’re not being told what to believe, you're being gently invited to remember what’s true.
It’s subtle magic with a side of science.
Your body listens. Your breath leads. Your mind starts to rewire.
No force. No pressure. Just the power of words, repetition, intention, and breath working together to plant something new.

Your Words Are Medicine
Everything you say to yourself, silently or out loud, is an instruction your body hears and responds to.
Your subconscious doesn’t question it. It doesn’t fact-check or cross-reference.
It just absorbs and reacts, building your reality from whatever you feed it.
“The words you speak become the house you live in.” — Hafiz
“Your brain doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what you keep telling it.” — Dr. Joe Dispenza
So when we repeat things like “I’m unsafe,” “I’ll never change,” or “I’m too much,” Our nervous system responds accordingly.
But the opposite is also true:
With breath, repetition, and intention, we can plant something new. Thoughts like: "I am safe." "I am allowed to heal." "I am enough."
This is how your body learns a new story.
This is how your nervous system rewires.

A Personal Note from Denise
Here’s the truth:
I didn’t even know NLP was a “thing” until recently.
But when I started learning about it, I had that full-body chills-down-my-spine moment, because I’d already been doing this work. For years.
With every affirmation, every visual I guided someone through, the mindfulness practice with children at the preschool, friends, groups, my own healing journey. Unofficially. Unconsciously. But always intuitively.
Once I realized there was a system to it, I jumped in, took a course.
Why? Because it works. Because it helps people come home to themselves.
And because I believe we all deserve to plant new seeds, and watch what grows.
