A Little Bit of Woo
Grounded Spirituality for Real Life
At The Healing Vibe, “woo” is simply the word I use for the intuitive, energetic, spiritual, and sometimes unexplainable parts of the experience.
It may look like setting an intention, pulling an oracle card, noticing a sign, connecting with a spirit guide, honouring the moon, clearing the energy in a room, or trusting the feeling in your gut before your logical mind has caught up.
You don’t need to believe exactly what I believe.
You don’t need to be ultra-spiritual, arrive perfectly healed, or carry 17 crystals in your bra, although we support that too.
You only need to come as you are.
Curious. Skeptical. Open. Messy. Magical. In transition. In resistance. In sweatpants.
There is room for all of it here.
Where Science Meets Spirit
I believe science and spirituality can sit at the same table.
Science helps us understand the nervous system, breath, sound, language, attention, and the ways our bodies respond to stress and safety.
Spirit reminds us that not every meaningful experience can be measured or neatly explained. Sometimes we know something before we understand why. Sometimes a message lands at exactly the right moment. Sometimes a card, dream, sign, or synchronicity speaks directly to something happening in our lives.
At The Healing Vibe, we don’t have to choose one or the other.
We can stay grounded, use discernment, and still leave room for mystery.
A Light-Filled, No-Weird-Vibes Zone
Yes, we work with energy.
Yes, we may connect with intuition, guides, angels, ancestors, or loved ones in spirit.
But no, this is not the spooky kind of spiritual practice.
Listen, I’ll be honest: I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat. I may be deeply intuitive, but I’m also the first person to say, “Oh, hell no,” if something feels dark, frightening, or out of alignment.
My work is grounded in light, love, prayer, intention, consent, and very clear energetic boundaries. I decide what is welcome in the space, and anything that doesn’t align is not invited.
No Ouija boards. Absolutely not. That is one of my very firm “oh, hell no” boundaries.
And yes, my mother was once a nun, so holy water is never entirely out of the question.
The goal is not fear. It is connection, comfort, clarity, and creating a space where you feel safe enough to exhale.
Intuition, Guides & Your Own Inner Knowing
I don’t believe intuition belongs to only a chosen few.
We all receive information in different ways. You may feel something in your body, hear a word in your mind, see an image, have a sudden knowing, or notice the same sign appearing again and again.
During a Healing Vibe experience, you may be invited to:
-
Notice and trust your intuitive impressions
-
Connect with your spirit guides, angels, ancestors, or loved ones
-
Recognize signs and synchronicities
-
Explore the meaning of an oracle card or message
-
Strengthen energetic boundaries
-
Learn the difference between intuition, fear, and overthinking
-
Reconnect with the wisdom already within you
I can help guide and light the way, but I don’t want you leaving believing that all the answers live outside of you.
The deeper purpose is to help you recognize your own voice, power, and inner knowing.
Ritual, Intention & the Moon
Ritual gives meaning to a moment.
A candle, a bowl of water, sage, a written intention, or a release practice can help mark the place where you decide something is ready to change.
Moon rituals have been part of spiritual traditions for generations. The New Moon offers a natural time to reflect on what you want to call in. The Full Moon creates a meaningful moment to acknowledge what has reached its peak and what you are ready to release.
The moon doesn’t do the work for you.
The ritual helps you pause, become intentional, and give your decision a physical expression.
That is where the power lives, in the meaning, the energy, the intention, and what you choose to carry forward afterward.
My Lineage, My Gifts & That Catholic-Witchy Combination
My intuitive gifts have been with me since childhood through nudges, gut feelings, dreams, and moments of knowing that turned out to be more than coincidence.
My maternal lineage carries deep faith, quiet strength, prayer, intuition, and a kind of kitchen-table magic. There are rosaries and candles in my story, but also rituals, signs, superstitions, and soul-deep wisdom.
My mother was a woman of faith who respected differences. She taught me, directly and indirectly, that spirituality can be personal, loving, and grounded.
I also inherited a practical, logical side from my father.
That combination lives at the heart of The Healing Vibe: feet on the ground, light invited in, humour close by, and room for what we cannot always explain.
You’re Not Broken. You’re Becoming.
This work isn’t about fixing you.
You’re not broken.
You may be releasing, remembering, questioning, healing, or becoming more of who you already are.
Come with your truth, your curiosity, your stories, your softness, and whatever beliefs feel honest to you.
Take what resonates. Use your discernment. Leave what doesn’t feel like yours.
We’ll meet somewhere between the science and the spirit, the laughter and the tears, the mess and the magic.
And together, we’ll keep lighting the way home.
