Why Women’s Circles Are Sacred (and Hilarious, and Healing, and Probably Full of Snacks)

Updated: Jul 23, 2025

In today's fast-paced and often chaotic world, finding inner peace and balance can feel like a daunting task. The good news is, there are resources and spaces where individuals can discover and cultivate that much needed sense of peace within themselves. One such place is The Healing Vibe Canada, a platform that offers a variety of services aimed at promoting holistic well-being and personal growth.

The Healing Vibe Women’s Circle session is a sacred container, but let’s be clear, it’s not about being perfect or polished or ultra-spiritual with 17 crystals in your bra (though we support that, too). It’s about realness.

This is a space to come exactly as you are: messy, magical, in transition, in resistance, in sweats.

We gather in circle to remember what our bones already know, that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in community. Through belly laughs, shared tears, stories that give us chills, and that warm knowing that you’re finally, finally in a room where you don’t have to shrink, filter, or explain yourself.

Let’s Be Clear: This Is a Light-Filled, No-Weird-Vibes Zone

Now, just in case you were wondering…Yes, we tap into energy. Yes, we connect with intuition, guides, and deeper wisdom. But no, this is not the spooky kind of spiritual practice.

Listen, I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat. I’ve always been deeply intuitive, but I’m also the first one to say oh hell no if anything even remotely creepy tries to come through. And to be real? That doesn’t happen, because I don’t allow it.

This space is well protected. It’s grounded. It’s intentional. It’s infused with love, light, boundaries, and big “Nope” energy for anything that doesn’t align.

If anything scary were to happen (which it won’t), I’m shutting it all down, flipping on all the lights, and probably pulling out some holy water just in case. (Stay tuned for "My mom was a nun" podcast and/or blog; hence I always have holy water). Weird I know.

This is not that kind of circle. You can breathe easy. This is a sacred, wholesome, joy-filled, high-vibe practice, the kind where your nervous system feels safe enough to finally exhale.

Workshops, Intuition, and Talking to Your Guides (No Ouija Board Required and permitted. This is one of those "oh hell no" moments. Absolutely. Never).

Alongside our Circles and Moon Ceremonies, I also offer workshops on developing your own intuition, tuning into your inner knowing, and yes - learning to talk to your guides. These are the kinds of conversations that remind you: your intuition isn’t broken, you’ve just been taught to ignore it.

We explore:

  • Trusting your gut without second-guessing

  • Not absorbing everyone else’s energy like a human sponge

  • Connecting with ancestors, angels, and your spirit team (the chill, protective kind)

  • Recognizing signs and synchronicities

  • And learning how to set clear energetic boundaries so you feel safe, empowered, and protected

Moon Ceremonies: Woo With a Side of Science

I’ve been doing Moon Ceremonies for years , and not just because it looks cute in candlelight. These ceremonies are rooted in real science and ancient wisdom.

Fact: The moon controls the tides ,and our bodies are around 60% water. If it can shift the oceans, of course it’s doing something to us. Research shows we sleep differently around the full moon, and our emotions, decision-making, and even hormone levels can be impacted. Our menstrual cycles often sync with lunar phases - which is wild and magical and not a coincidence.

When we gather under the moon, whether it’s a New Moon to set intentions or a Full Moon to release what no longer serves, we’re reconnecting to a rhythm that’s been with us since before we had words.

My Lineage, My Gifts, and That Catholic-Witchy Combo

My intuitive gifts have been with me since childhood- those little nudges, gut feelings, and dreams that ended up being a lot more than “just dreams.” I’ll be sharing more about those early memories soon, because I know many of you have felt the same things and weren’t sure what to make of them.

My maternal lineage is strong and sacred. The women before me had deep inner knowing, quiet strength, and a kind of kitchen table magic that blended rosaries with rituals and whispered prayers with soul-deep wisdom. There’s Catholicism in there (shoutout to Our Lady of Boundaries), but also something ancient and earthy. Something wild and womanly. And that lives here, too.

So What Happens Here?

These Women’s Circles are more than a gathering. It’s a recalibration.

We breathe. We reflect. We laugh. We get real. We remember who we are.

And always. always, we do it in a space that is safe, sacred, and spiritually clean.

Final Word: You’re Not Broken. You’re Becoming

These circles aren't about fixing you. You’re not broken. You’re becoming. Becoming more of who you already are. More grounded. More awake. More in tune with your body, your voice, your needs.

So come as you are. Bring your truth, your stories, your stretch pants, your snacks, and your softness. Let yourself be held.

We’re in this together, under the moon, in the mess, and in the magic.
